I came to the doctor on Monday after suffering a migraine that had started on Saturday. When I showed her the name of the medicine I had taken to stop the migraine the first time( it went away and came back) she said immediately that this office does not prescribe narcotics. The pill I was showing her was not a narcotic(I am not a damn junkie)and it was prescribed by a different doctor in the same clinic for my daughter's migraines. She said to double up on my blood pressure medicine. She rubbed a little on my neck, charged me $20 and left it at that. I told her that I didn't like her very much today and she said coldly,"You are welcome to go to a different clinic. Now as I said this is the worst pain I have ever had in my life and she didn't do one thing to help me. She barely listened to what I said and was very rude on top of it all. I wouldn't take my dog back to her and I have requested a different doctor within this same clinic. My doctor's name is Brandy Hopson but I'm not even sure she is a doctor, she may just be a nurse practicing as a doctor. Either way, she did no good for me, she wasn't even nice to me. It is no wonder why they make you pay up front before you even see a doctor.
I see matthew beason as my primary care. Ive never had any issues at this office whatsoever. Ive never had to wait more than just a few minutes, and matthew has always been courteous and professional. I switched to the clinton office temporarily because its much much closer and convenient, but i saw some dr named dr webb, and he took 2 weeks to fill my rx's, and gave me a hard time about a 90 day supply even though its cheaper. The clinton office staff are horrible and were of zero help. I switched back to the maynardville office, and back to matthew beason. Its worth the drive to have everything go smoothly.
Had the most joyful visit with Dr Green yesterday having some dental work desperately needed. I'm 62 and been tortured for years by Army dentist and others who claimed to be dentist. Dr Green is the real deal. Very calming and helpful and used tender hands and a very kind demeanor in working. She no doubt is one of the best dentist I have ever seen. One extraction and there was all but no pain and as the numbness wore off the pain was still gone. She is a great asset to Cherokee Health Systems and the staff and her assistant were tops! I would recommend them to anyone and as for a dentist, you could not find one any better.
