I love it. My trailer slip was a bit hard to get into the angle was funny. After we got set up the place is amazing. This is a must experience kind of place
Big Ridge is one of my favorite places to go in all of union county. They have basket ball courts as well as tennis. They also have a volleyball net with sand and a playground for children. Best of all, it's right beside a lake!

I have lived within a mile of this park all of my life. It is a beautiful place where you can be close to nature. The staff are friendly and there are many free activities to participate in. They have a cement pool connected to the lake for safe swimming. The campground is clean and serene. There are also paddle boat rentals and an outdoor exercise area. Wonderful place for families and friends to enjoy the outdoors.
This is real close to my house and is a great place to get in some pretty good hiking miles along Norris Lake and up the nearby ridges. Going up the Big Valley trail from the parking area is definitely a lung buster.
Great camping area. Some of the spots are smaller but everything was well taken care of. The one bathhouse that we used was in good shape but I am not sure about the other bathhouses.
